I'm missing the connection and before I jump to conclusions I want to to get the whole picture - or as much of it. You're saying that a program shouldn't need DCS to run, correct? DCS7 runs every program because it's coded to recognize all the headers for different Shells. In DCS8 we can remove that recognition since the traditional shells won't be ported for a while, if at all. A programmer doesn't have to use DCS if they don't want. They can make their own shell or write their own routines.
And that DoorsCS adds some useful features. What features are we talking about?
