I have a feature request. It would be nice to gave the ability to bring RTC time into some BASIC variable.
Upon, say, [EXE] from a title screen (where it shows current time), save current time in hours and fraction of hours into some Basic variable (selectable from shift-setup menu, maybe?).
This way you can grab the time of observation with one simple keystroke, and at a later time dispatch it into proper list, or spreadsheet cell for further processing.
Hours and fractions of an hour is to use angular DMS conversion ops to convert to minutes and seconds and back, if needed.
Saving date (into different variable) is less interesting, after all, how hard it is to enter it manually, no more than once a day?
I have no idea how hard it is to access basic variables from the add-in.
On a related note, when using stopwatch to time some quick event i had to hit f2 to start (reset) and f1 to pause. It would be more convenient if it was the same button, so i do not have to fumble moving finger from one button to another without looking.
