That was the point of my original correction (African-American -> African-British) which ben corrected further (African-British to black-British) Smile

The African/Black distinction is pedantically correct, but seems mostly to highlight double standards in the way we describe people. i.e., it's not socially acceptable to refer to Asian Americans or Native Americans as "yellow" or "red" Americans. On the other hand we frequently refer to white people as "European" or "Caucasian" when many American whites came here from Europe at least as long ago (if not longer) than American blacks came here from Africa. And the vast majority probably can't even tell you where the Caucasus are.
