That's pretty cool. I assume that there are also programs that let you keep said metadata separate, considering all those synchronized Christmas light displays, etc.

Well, it shouldn't be hard to do. You can insert metadata into an audio stream for some formats that will get triggered when the sound is played at that time. You can just use an audio player library of some kind and intercept the metadata. Or a text file with time stamps ![]() |
