I'm not sure, it'll depend on how much I have when I can't wait any longer or if I hear rumors about a new full frame DSLR from Canon. I've shot with both a 5D and a 1D and I prefer the 5D (especially price wise) but there was a level of awesome when I could say "I'm shooting with a 1D." I'll have a better projection around April, I hope.
I'll have a better idea around April. As for the lens, it's pretty simple but it does destroy the lens for future use as a normal lens.
